I wonder and worry about the impact of this terrible surge of hatred, deceit, and violence on everyone but especially on young people. Are our ways of teaching and caring for them providing the intellectual, social-emotional, and ethical knowledge and skills they need to understand what's going on, what's going wrong, and what they can do to stay safe and sane?
